Chartering

The process of creating your own Young Democrats chapter is simple. To register your chapter with our organization, you must do the following:

• First, check if the chapter you want to create already exists! To do so, visit our list of Chapters here.

• Second, make sure you have at least five (5) members of the organization. The minimum requirement is as follows: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasure, and one at-large member (not on the Executive Board).

• Third, check out the Chartering Form linked below! All of the information and requirements you need to know in order to charter with us is there.

• Fourth, ratify KYD’s constitution, as well as your chapter’s constitution. Both a sample constitution and KYD’s constitution are available below.

• Fifth, once you have finished everything stated above, please reach out to our Secretary, to finalize the process.
